NEWS FROM HIGHWIND FARM
NEW FALL, WINTER & SPRING HOLIDAY MINI RIDING CAMP REGISTRATION
Riding Camp is not just for summer anymore!

Highwind Farm hosts a fall, winter and spring holiday riding program for ages 5 & up.
The program runs on holiday weekends and over holiday, winter and spring breaks, with the children grouped according to age. Students learn the basic fundamentals of caring for horses, grooming, saddling and basic horsemanship. We tailor our instruction to the level of the camp riding groups. The children also enjoy an educational & fun visit from a local farrier (blacksmith), and Veterinarian.
All groups are taught by professional riding instructors who also have helpers on hand. Our horses and ponies
are carefully selected and trained for beginner riders. The large indoor ring provides a perfect place for rainy days and cold winter afternoons, as well. And we have a climate controlled lounge for “non-horse” activities. We have other creature comforts such as restrooms (no port-a-pots here). Everything is done to assure the safety and comfort of the children. And we keep the focus on fun!
Space is limited, so please call to register in advance! (631)298-4349
